Choke Chain
Where would you buy a prong collar or a choke chain in the UK?
I don’t want one but as they’re practically illegal over here (they’re not technically but many people think they are/should be), it’s not like you can just stroll into any big pet shop such as Pets At Home and buy one.
Do you have to buy them on the internet or are there specialist shops that sell them? Just curious.
I’ve not looked in the actual shops, but there’s no mention of them on the PAH website.
Pets At Home do not sell prong collars, in fact their collar selection overall is pretty poor.
Contrary to popular opinion, there is no political moment in England to make prong collars illegal & the majority of people who have commented on my male Dobe’s prong have generally been more curious than censorious.
I purchased my first prong collar from Leerburg, but now want one with medium sized prongs for a better bite & will be ordering one from Fordogtrainers.

You can pick a choke collar up with relative ease in England, but again I would opt to purchase a decent brand rather than purchase one from a champ show or pet shop.
