Obedience Field

For those who show…. what’s your FAVORITE???

Sooo… I have always been in the AKC/show world. Personally, conformation is my favorite, but that may be because I haven’t done obedience yet… what is everyone’s favorite event? Agility, obedience, conformation, field, tracking, what???

Agility is really neat to watch. My mom used to with her border collies… it IS amazing what dogs can do!
Especially weaving at what seems like lightening speed.

I like conformation, agility and obedience. Conformation – it is so subjective… depends upon the judge and what the judge likes on a particular day. Obedience – is very structured and usually you need some obedience to do most of the other sports. Agility is probably my favourite because it is so much fun for both – most dogs just love it – especially ones that like to jump and run and have lots of energy.
